Women blogging purposefully on Education
This page has been written in the spirit of solidarity with International Women’s Week and it’s 2011 theme of “Equal access to education, training and science and technology: Pathway to decent work for women.“ It is designed to support the Purpos/ed project by drawing together all those posts by the brilliant women taking part in the project in 2011. Opening challenge by Keri Facer and more info on Purpos/ed here
Here is a list of the Women of Purpos/ed bloggers and what they argue is the purpose of education;

Contributors; All contributors are listed here.
My personal favourite contribution so far is by Frances Bell for her marvellously crafted, multi-layered, gently provocative, Tiffany-inspired (genius!) Art Nouveau gem,
I will continue to update this resource until the end of the blogging phase of the purpose/ed project
